Early Winter

The Right Honourable, the Lady Chillyfreeze McIce Frost of Icicleville and Snowfields was toying with an ice cube rather recklessly. How was that possible? Autumn leaves still on the branches? Kids giggling in the soft sunshine? Rain now and then, Autumn rain and not a pretty snowstorm, as it should be? She dropped the ice cube and started drumming her fingers on a delicate table carved from pure frozen fairy tears. She must have been really impatient as the table broke into a million pieces a moment later. "Enough is enough! Something must be done! The world has to suffer from cold!" - Lady Chilly was furious by now.

The inhabitants of the tiny mountain village woke up in the next morning and they couldn't believe their own eyes. A few hours earlier they had enjoyed a peaceful, mildly warm late Autumn day... and today it was Winter, cold and snowy Winter. "Ohhh, look! Snow! Where is the sled? Let's go out and build a snowman! Mother, can I take a carrot from the pantry?" The village kids were apparently happy and undisturbed by the sudden weather change. Not far away, feeling an absolute failure, Lady Chilly decided to give up her high status and apply for a job. A nice job, preferably in a lovely warm room. A secretary, or maybe a cook.

Ready for an early Winter, at least in SL? Here are the goodies.

An elephant journey

The first time Jiiarale had heard about the garden was when she was still a little child. Some of the women in the harem had talked about the rumor that there was a place where they could live without having to serve. At this time Jiiarale had not even known what it meant to serve but when she grew older and learned the important rules - for women - in life the idea of the garden returned to her mind.

Most of her sisters disappeared when they reached a certain age, Jiiarale did not want to allow others to determine her future so she started to read a lot. And finally one night she found a book which contained all the information about the garden and how to get there. But it would be a long journey. She did not want to go alone so she started to try to talk with her sisters but it seemed like they would not even want to think so making a plan about how to escape was far from their minds. In her lonelyness she started to spend time with watching her fathers elephants and one day she realized that one of them was supposed to have a similar fate as hers. It was planed to give Geena away to the sovereign of the neighbour country and then Jiiarale learned that she was supposed to go there as well. She needed to flee and now that she had more pressure to come up with a plan her mind started to work faster.
 At the end she was surprised how easy it was for Geena and her - and also Geena's calf - to escape the guards who were supposed to bring her to the neighbour country. And then they started to travel on their real journey. Jiiarale had not supposed that Geena would be willing to come with her but it seemed like the elephant knew that she had nothing bad in mind. For a long time their days consisted out of endless hours in sun or rain which never seemed to end. While the elephants seemed to become stronger with every day Jiiarale became more and more exhausted. So Geena wrapped her trunk around her at one day and placed her on her back. From then they started to travel faster.

The sun was low when they finally reached the garden. But both elephants and the women knew that there would be many days of sunshine would follow.


Elephants are some of the cutest beings on earth. So seeing that Bare Rose made rideable elephants was just great. The elephants are available in a black and a white version. Each of those packs contains a special Elephant riding ao, an adult elephant with saddle and one without and an additional baby elephant. The elephants are attached to the avatar and when running the ao it looks like the avatar is riding on them.
Apsara has a wide range of asian outfits. All of those are available in a wide range of rich colours. The scarf and the long shirt are both made of mesh. The bottom of the pants is made of non rigged mesh, while the rest of the pants is a normal clothing layer pant. This makes it easy to combine those.
The Shiki Hair from Wasabi Pills looks like a looly bound ponytail with some decorations. It is possible to tint the hairclips as well as the hairband with a hud, which is contained in the pack.

Booey Halloween!

There was silence in the Evil Enchanted Forest. Ominous silence. Every poisonous plant, every bat and snake was ready to pounce on anyone who dared wander around among the bushes on Halloween Night.

Yet, all of a sudden, the guardian of the Evil Enchanted Forest, an ancient oak, couldn’t believe his… well, his ears, had he had anything similar to a human ear on his trunk at all. Someone was happily singing and hopping along the narrow path, that lead to the very centre of the forest, a stinky black swamp. 

A little girl, carrying a bunch of orange balloons that looked like jack-o’lanterns. “The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout…” – sang the silvery high-pitched voice. “At least she is stylish… let her through!” – whispered the Guardian and the poisonous plants, the bats and snakes remained withdrawn among the shadows.

Secrets of the sea

Deep waters did not speak. At least not with the ones Lucille did not want to know her secrets. It had been ten years ago when she met the waterman. She still did not know why she dared to go swimming in the lake although she was not a secure swimmer at all. But the heat at that day had been nearly unbearable and the water was delightful until there was something around her ankle which felt like a hand and pulled her down to the depth. She remembered how she wanted to scream when she saw the being which had pulled her down. Somehow her will to fight him seemed to have impressed him or he simply did not think that she was too tasty, or he had a completely different reason to pull her to a small rock island too far from the shore that she could have even thought that there would be a way to escape. There he offered her a deal. She would bring him humans of her choice and in exchange he would let her go and also supply her with items of worth he found in the deepth. Since then she traded everything he brought her. No matter if it were pretty shells, old coins or drug packets the best was it was so easy to get rid of everybody who was in her way. 
The fantasy Gatach event will end very soon. 22769 made the Helice dress for it. It can be worn in roleplay as well as for afternoon events. The skirt is made to look like it consists of very big leaves. The used skin, shape and the eyes come all from Mirror's Enigma. It is their new Stella skin. There is makeup for the skin available as well. The scarf is an old huntgift from bubble, and although it is not made of mesh it looks great. The morgan hair from Wasabi Pills is a great undercut hair, which goes well with modern outfits but can be used also to bring a break to classical outfits. The heels come from L'aph and are available in a wide range of colours. The used pose is available at purple poses.

Pirates of the Scarabbean

Scah Rab Anh was so close to the prize, oh so very close. A few more steps and she would finally fulfil the dream of generations and generations of her ancestors. She would finally put her hands on the Chest of the Golden Scarab, the treasure her great-grandfather's great-grandfather had already been hunting for... a treasure for which her family had left the golden Egyptian sands and embarked on a neverending journey on the high seas. Trapped

Some day she would have her own little cafe. At least that was what she had been planing. For years, actually for many years. But this would only happen when the debt was payed. The debt which she had with those smugglers who brought her out of the lands she had been born in.

But this would take the same time again. Maybe if she would find an other job. But what could she do. There was hardly anything she had learned or which was able to stick in her mind besides of how to make coffee. Making contracts with coffeehouse demons was really not the best idea. On the other hand she could have gotten worse contracts, the accounting demons were always searching for new victims.

Auxiliary takes part in the rack this weekend. For this they made a sweater and a scarf both of rigged mesh. The sweater is wide enough to be combined with mesh pants as for example the hotpants from 22769. Those are available in several colours in their mainstore.The legwarmers come also from Auxiliary and are sold in a gatcha vendor at the side of the store. There are demos available so that it is possible to check which size fits best before using the gatcha. The horns also come from an Auxilary gatcha. They are made of nonrigged mesh with some lovely perl bands wrapped around them.
The hair is an other gatcha item. It is being sold at the legion project. There is a wide range of colours available.

Institutional Art

First days back at school were always a little different. Here at the Institute of Arts, where designers mingled with mystics and critics, things were perhaps a little more different than usual.

The mid afternoon gloom of mists rolling in off the lakes set the tone for those congregating on that side of the campus.

Rather than be restricted by medium, the institute was subdivided by muse. Kindred spirits of poet and sculptor worked side by side for the glorification, or damnation of their inspiration.

Dark played with Light in the minds of the artists as much as it ever did on canvas. Friendships and collaborations shifted with the refilling of each coffee cup.

Cigarette smoke curled into the mist as circles of glowing red embers danced with the flow of conversation, never to fall beneath the grind of a heel. This place, and all those in it were works of art.

There's something about this shade of teal that I just can't get enough of. I'm not a fan of blue in general - as in, it would not be my favourite colour - though I can certainly agree it has its uses. But this teal shows up in so many things I see and think innately beautiful. It also goes insanely well with this beautiful skin!

The whole styling of this lot pleases me immensely.
