Sabja and Amphisbaene her friend and confidant were tired. They had worked the whole night but it seemed like were slowly getting what they wanted. Born as human Amphisbaene had been cursed and forced to live as snake but this did not disconnect her from her magical powers soon she was able to transform in nearly every form she wanted to use. Sabja was the daughter of the archmage, so she was often the target of assaults but the snake had started to help her friend. This night was an important night Amphisbaene had spend ages in the workplace of one of the biggest enemys of Sabja's mother. For hours she had pretended to be a sculpture and so she had been able to hear whispered secrets and even more important she knew what the wizzard planed. He wanted to send his men to kidnap and to kill Sabja, one of his apprentices should transfer the soul of one of his cats into her body and revive her again. Nobody but Sabja knew that Amphisbaene was the strongest mage in the town and the snake did not want her friend to be killed. So she forced the wizzard to look like Sabja. Filled up with drugs they locked him in Sabja's room and were amazed finding him the next day and had a good laugh when he asked for milk.

The items in this blog post come all from stores I love and they have all one thing in common. Frippery, Gilded, Sterling Artistry,Kouse's Sanctum and Wasabi Pills take all part at the Fantasy faire. Gilded made the crystal wings they come in several sizes and with and without resize script. The set contains also a crystal mask for the face. The eyes are a donation item from Sterling Artistry. They are very big as it are elf eyes and the textures are wonderful as all eyes from that store. The long ponytail hair with the twigs is the latest release from Wasabi Pills and also available without the twigs and in many many colours. I love dresses in ocean colours and so this gown from Kouse's Sanctum makes me smile. The shades of green and blue are just lovely.

The Jewlery from Frippery fits perfectly to the rest of the outfit or the outfit fits perfectly to the jewlery. The bracers on the upper picture are the Frippery donation items at the faire. They are mod so it was no problem to make them smaller to make them fit. They look like being made of golden metal with tiny purple roses on them. The idea is great and Elizabeth, the owner of Frippery, must have spend lots of hours being very concentrated while building them.

At the fantasy faire also a hunt is going on. The earrings and the necklace belong to the hunt gift from Frippery. They are made of many many small prims and look very beautiful. I guess they suit every princess, queen or fairy. A necklace also belongs to the set. Frippery takes also part in the silent auction at the fantasy faire. The prize Elizabeth offers there is very special. It is one item which will be created special for the winner of the auction. So the winner will be her muse and she will build something unique for that person. Elizabeth's skills are amazing so its a great chance to get something really special and even help the American Cancer Society by doing so.

Kouse's Sanctum at fashion for life

A lady standing lonely in the mountains. She rests for a moment from wandering around. Her dress is elegant and maybe not made for the mountains but she does not care at all.

Today is the last day of fashion for life so its a good reason to visit it for a last time. Those three gowns are all donation items from Kouse's Sanctum a great store for dresses for romantic dances or roleplay. The upper one is very festive with the patterns and the mix of the colours is nice. I like the ruffles at the top very much and also the sleeves are pretty unique. They are made using the sytem layer and prims. That is much smarter than makeing the whole sleeves out of prims in my opinion.

The black dress might be perfect for playing a woman who works. It has an apron and small lace pattern at the bottom of the skirt. The corset has a white laceing in the front. The sleeves fit well to the dress. And of course the black textures are pretty well made so that they do look black although being shades of black and dark grey. The skirt and the apron come in several versions. The skirt could be worn short or long and the apron comes in red and purple.

This purple gown has a overskirt which looks a bit like blossoms. The sleeves are made of very fine lace in the same colour as the skirt. And it has a layer of lace which goes over the shoulder. The sleeves are also not directly connected to the dress as at the other two dresses.

Kouse Singh the owner of Kouse's Sanctum gave also a statement why she takes part at fashion for life and does so much for the whole Relay for Life movement. It has been published on the fashion for life site and is definitly worth to read.

Blue fairy dreams

A fairy jumping innocently from leaf to leaf searching for a frog to kiss. When getting in danger to fall into the water she flutters her wings quickly. But the frogs know her allready so they hide. Once she managed to catch one and he had to spend lots of time in an old boot while she was thinking if she should kiss him or not.The blue dress is from the midnight mania board at Kouse's sanctum. It comes with three kinds of skirts. So it fits also smaller avis. The shades of blue used in the dress are amazing. The white wings are from the Material Squirrel Wings lucky board. Those boards change rather fast and there are many of them. So its fun to go there because you win a lot.The wings are lovely and come with a hud to adjust the size and the flapping. They even have xcite touch. It was actually Storm who told me to go there and it was a rather good hint from him. I took the picture at greenhouse one of my favourite sims.

The vain princess

Once upon a time there was a tiny elephant princess.

So she demanded a gown in the colour of a gem everyday from her subjects.

If they didn t obey she sprayed water over them.

So one day she wore a dress which was green like an emerald.

The next day her gown had the colour of a ruby.

One day she even wore a dress which was shiny as a diamond, but she made it very dirty.

But the day she wore a sapphire gown in the colour of the water of a lagoon in the begining afternoon something unexpected happend to her.

She met a magus who was on a journey. She thought that it was one of her subjects so she demanded "i want a gown in all colours of the rainbow from you". The magus simply said "no". So she became angry and started to spray water at him.
The magus stroked for a moment over his beard and pushed then his staff into the ground.
The princess got more angry and sprayed water at him. But it was to late a mighty spell started to work on her.
When the red clouds disappeard she had to recognize that she had a completly different shape. She had become human. The magus had been so kind to transform not only her he also transformed her dress so she wasn`t naked.
Angry she wanted to spray at the magus but he laughed and handed her a handkerchief. After that he told her that she will only get her true form back when she would manage to make a gown in all colours of the rainbow herself. So she went on a journey to learn from the most talented couturiers, hoping to become an elephant princess again.

The Elephant avatars are available in many colours. For example natural grey but also different shades of green, blue, orange, yellow. There is even one in patchwork look so the avatar look like Elmer the patchwork elephant.

Kouse at Fabulous Fashion TV Studio with Angie Mornington

Kouse presented some of her clothes at Fabulous Fashion TV Studio with Angie Mornington. And because of that at the sim of the fashion studio a free gown from Kouse's sanctum is available.

Here a closer look at the top. I like the little flowers. As i wrote in an other blog i love asymmetric tops. And this one is a very well made one.

The Lady and the Unicorn (dress)

Hoping to attract an unicorn with an unicorn gown. But it didn t work well. This dress is a dollarbie at Grimorio creations. The colour is very pretty. I also adore the texture on the top.

Very well to the dress fits this simple necklace with a note. It comes with a good script to modify it. First the normal resize script and then also a recolour script. The script for recolouring has many options.

The necklace comes with fitting earrings. As my hair does cover my ears i moved the earing a bit away from them to make a picture of it. The earrings have also this great script in them.
Earings and necklace are made by Ilse Bellic. She also builds on demand. In the store she owns with Elke Wylie she also sell innocent looking jewlery which is less innocent when using rlv.

Its april now so its time to visit Kouse's sanctum and the lucky dip again. This is one of the dresses i choosed there last month.

Treasures from Kouse

Once i met a nice Lady. Her name is Kouse. She had a shop in Avilion vale. But today i heard her shop moved. So i got curious and went there and found a treasure box.
I found also a small paper with informations about the treasure box. A human was so nice to explain it to me (dragons don`t read).
You could dip into the treasure box every minute. You could find jewlery in it (necklaces and circlets). And also gold and silver coins, gems and gift cards (worth 450 Linden).
For five gold coins you could chose a gown from Kouse's sanctum. For five silver coins you could choose a piece of jewlery. And for 12 different gems you get a 500 Linden giftcard.

I was very glad about winning a giftcard. But it was tricky to decide which gown would fit me.
The sign above the treasure box gives a notecard with all needed informations when you touch it.

Magic & Romance Hunt

If you have enough of your roleplay dresses the Magic & Romance hunt is a hunt you should attend. The hunt runs from 1st of february till 7th of March. A lot of fantasy shops take part in it.
I'd like to show some of the hunt items.

First of all i want to start with Kouse's sanctum. There i found this nice gown. It comes in a short and a long version and is very pretty.

When looking for the Hunt item i did fall in love with a dress (it was green). On the picture i wear it without the sleeves.

This dress reminded me on the Fables comics. Bluebelle and the unveiling of the secret what bluebelle wears under her dress. The dress comes with various versions of the flower basked, two versions of the stockings (blue and white) and even a shape. Its the hunt item at Deviance.
