Look of the day

Well here is my look of the day, with a very ethnic feel, it's something that I would wear in real life.My dear blogger friend Dagmar asked if I would like to do a 'look of the day' post. I think it is designed to share a bit about ourselves as bloggers ( although I could be totally off the mark here). Like Dagmar I also have a love of oriental/ethnic style clothes as they seem to love their bold prints and bright colours, and this lovely little dress on the lucky board at Awram Viie is no exception.

It's interesting how peoples opinions differ when it comes to SL, some like to express themselves in a way that they wouldn't be able to in real life , however I can't seem to do that I always pick clothes that reflect the real life me. For example I was drawn to this outfit for the colours , something which my real life wardrobe is full of because apparently i'm prediposed to being a 'winter', ...that's according to my friend who is a colour analyst and believes we all fit into certain 'colour types' that seem to fit the seasons of the year...odd you might think but when she told me what colours I subconciously are drawn to I found that she was quite correct, lucky guess maybe ....having seen the outfits I wear?

Gone skating

Sometimes all the task, a roleplay character has, are a bit annoying. So what could be better to relax than spending some time at the road near the beach and to skate. Of course being dressed well and having a bag with useful things just in case. A bag is always a great roleplay item. Its useful when you suddenly need something. So you just have that item in your bag. The skateboard is from Draneqo. I love the look of it. But as it has been made for me its not available for anybody else. The boots are somehow my favourite boots since i have them. They aren t sexy at all i guess but they are comfy and useful and could deal with dirt. The dress comes from MNK its cute. Look of the day

I haven't made a look of the day post for ages. So here a current one. The most important part of the outfit are the socks in my opinion. They are unique with the little bugs and flowers. The dress comes from lika ruby and is worn on two layers. The jacket comes from mnk it could be worn with long, middle and short sleeves. And the cane with animations comes of course from CI. Look of the Day: Reaktor

Glamorize has four walls full of long nails, dangly earrings and other jewelery by Coco Nikita. The set I'm wearing costs just 25L, and comes with both earrings and a necklace (not pictured).

I swear, I love this store. They always have stuff you can't find anywhere else. Visiting them makes me feel like I'm visiting my local beauty store (and I live in the inner city, so you know how that is!).



So where am I today? I'm at Club Reaktor in Insilico. They're currently hiring djs and dancers; the guy standing behind me, a friend of mine, is a manager there. Go here if you're looking for a way to earn shopping money. The managers are very nice people and the tips are pretty awesome.

Late revenge

Commander Maria Lindsey was pirate by birth and captain by accident. She was the daughter of Commodore Benjamin Geare and she spend the most time of her life with hating him desperatly. But she pretended to be a good daughter. She even laughed with him about old stories. Like the face of her mother when he sold her to the most dirty brothel he had ever seen. Maria did her best not to let her father recognize that she was also female. She fought like a man, was able to drink more than a sailor and even the old parrot of the mate blushed when she told a joke. But deep inside she hated and waited. When the chance came she took it. She never understood why her father was the captain of a ship and couldn t swim but she knew to use that fact. So she pushed him from board when they entered a ship. They made lots of money with that ship and when the crew recognized that the captain was gone they made Maria to their new captain. One of her first action as captain was sending the crew from board. Then she started to inspect the ship. She looked for a long time at the throne of her father.
She spend about half an hour with the throne then there was nothing left of it. But Maria felt much better.
This is a look of the day post. The coat was a gift in the go4goal hunt from LnL. Its just amazing how great the textures are. There was a female and a male version of the coat in the gift.
I do not know if the coat is now sold by LnL. But the store is worth a look. The textures of the outfits which are sold there are just amazing. At the store also some events take place from time to time.
The hat and the cane are from cogoo. The poses are also a gift from Cogoo a nice small store in the wastelands.

Look of the day

Exploring one of the greatest sims i know, Devils Moon. The sim is build by Abramelin Wolfe, who also created great stuff like the tiny couple animator. Devils Moon looks very much like the scenery in bladerunner. So a kimono fits very well to the place. But as it just stoped to rain its better to wear boots instead of getas to avoid getting wet feet.
The short kimono comes from Milky House. I like the mix of kimono and short dress and love the colours. The boots are from Perse and i just love them. They fit to so many different outfits and look so modern and elegant.

Look for having a drink with a robot

Its important to be dressed right when going out. Especially when the bartender is a naughty robot. If the clothes are too short he flips out and gets a leak and if everything is covered he does not give gratis drinks as he sees then no reason to make you drunk. So its important to find a good mix. The top and the pants are from the phoenix rising sale (the store is going to close and they sell everything for 100 Linden). I like the bow of the corset very much. A:S:S started to sell viewer2 tattoo layer eyeliner named guyliner and i had a look and tested if the guyliner also looks fine on females and it does. They sell one makeup for 20 Lindens and there is also a free one which i used on the picture. The earrings are from womens dreamy body shop and well the boots are my current favourite shoes and they are still from perse. The eyes are from my favourite eyestore - Sterling Artistry. They are rather big dragoneyes. Silverr the owner sells twelve different colours of dragoneyes on the picture i used the ones in TealSplendor.

Look of the day

Today is a good day for doing the laundry. But waiting is a bit boring so its a good thing to paint a bit until the laundry is done.

I have that dress for a while now and like it very much. It was a gift from oyakin at so kinky 10. So kinky was quite a cool event it has been 4 concerts and if going to them you got some tokons for gifts. The jacket is from mnk. I think it was in a hunt but its also available in the store. I absolutly love the boots from -Perse-. The mask was on a very slow lucky chair and i was very glad when winning although i met some nice furries and tinies at that chair.

As usual, I'm being a little late following my gorgeous fellow bloggers, but better late than never. Since I'm undead by choice, I hope you'll bear with me that I rather present my Look of the Night than showing off my daytime-PJ's... this my second post and I don't want to scare you all off in the very beginning.

Anyways, on the clothes! I picked a tee that's been one of my very first purchases, a nicely shaded piece you can get at *BOOM*. It comes in a set of 4 different versions, from solid to ultra sheer, is unisex and available in a rainbow of colours, so you can layer different shades quite nicely. And all that for a steal deal of only 50L$ per pack!

The lickable latex pants with ankh-pattern landed in my shopping bag at Sn@tch's last sale, come in pants- and underpants-layer and are even transfer, so if you want to gift them, they're really a nice addition not only to your clubbing wardrobe. You can pick from a great variety of motives and/or colours, from gothic to punk.

I paid Spider Productions a visit yesterday, and that's where my boots come from. Both textures and prim work are outstanding, and the buckle flaps can be made invisible via menu so you get an entirely different look. Unfortunately, there are no demos in store, but the boots are mod in case you need to make adjustments (and actually fit me well right ahead).

Look of the Day: Shiva

My inventory is out of control at the moment and haven't had much time to organize. I found an unopened package from Rotten Toe and nearly fell-over when I tried-on its contents. Surprise! This is !RT's Tudors Dress, won from a lucky chair months ago, unearthed once again. Don't you love that? It's like finding a large sum of Lindens deep inside last season's coat pocket when you're nearly broke. The skirt is sculpted and the main texture is luxurious velvet with gold lace trim. The boots are an old hunt item from Demotik - another goodie that got buried and recently unearthed. Notice the heels with skulls placed in a curved ebony bone base.

Look of the Day: Pompadour

Today I made a new character named Rika.  Rika, named after a social worker in the horror film Ju-on, was dressed up in L&H and Maschienenwerk clothing today.  Unfortunately, both of those stores closed down not too long ago.  I hope at some point they can return, but for now I guess anyone who was lucky enough to shop there will know these outfits.

However, I'd like to show you this awesome hair I picked up yesterday from Shop Seu in CP-Switch:



I didn't even pay 200L for it.  It's lovely and feminine, and the texture is great.

Look of the day

The look what the cat brought bloggers love fashion - else they wouldn't write about it. But what do they wear when shopping or meeting friends? To answer that question we decided to start a series of postings here named "Look of the day". In the entries the bloggers will present their favourite outfits.

So i have the honor to start the series. I combined a tattoo from actchio (will be in the for the love of science hunt starting at 22th August) with a short dress from tomoto, boots from perse and tights which are also from actchio.
