Bird

Nest 884-A was the last outpost and it was the place they had sent her to. It was as much of a punishment as a reward. Every watcher of 884-A had made an impressive carrer at the end. But at the moment she doubted that this would happen to her. On her way she had rested on all outposts on the way and listened to the stories of the other watchers. It seemed like the big swarms of mer people had went far to the east. Which meant she would not have to deal with them. But nobody was able to answer the question why they had left.
The last distance was longer than she had expected it. So her wings were weak when she finally reached the outpost. Her back would hurt but at least it seemed like none of her feathers were broken and although she had fallen onto her back while landing her tail was more or less unharmed as well. She thanked the big bird quietly and was happy to find the small nest, which was hidden in the outpost, clean.
If the flight had not been so long and exhausting she would have eventually had used the rest of the daylight to explore the outpost. Especially the ladders and the plattform at sealevel. But being tired she had fallen asleep imediatly. So she did not know what to do besides of locking the door when hearing the wood, the most of the outpost was built of, creak. In the morning she stepped outside - after she had made sure that nobody was waiting for her outside - and looked over the sea. Everything was calm. But she did know that something was out there. Something or somebody who had caused the mer to leave. She would find it out. But first she would need to wait for the return of the night.

DeviousMind takes part in the fantasy gatcha event. Their item is called Harpyia and consists of rigged bird legs, wings and feathers. The quality of the item is very high especially for being not very costly at all. It was a nice surprise to get the Nighthawk version as it goes so nicely with the Raven skin from fallen gods inc. The skin is available in several tones and comes with a pg cover and two versions of the chest part. The Hawk Hair from Wasabi Pills completes the bird look. As shape the Amaris shape from Adam n Eve has been used.

Birds often seem to like to be at high places. So the Escape from 22769's house/furniture brand [bauwerk] is a most suitable building. It is available in four different colours and suits different kinds of settings as for example cute sims or more post apocalyptic worlds.

The used poses come from Ma Vie. The Harpy set also includes a pose which makes sure that the arms are being hold up so that the avatar looks also bird like in it's movments.

In Flames

The fire felt warm in her hand. It was nearly comfy well for her other might have allready started to scream while trying to get rid of the burning flames. Not her. It had been the right thing to spend months in the company of books. First she had to use a lighter to let the flames run over her fingers. There was still a healing scar from one of her first attempts. But then she had found the right book and learned to master the flames. Of course some of her jewelry was helpful. The skull of the raven gave her enough air to keep the fire alive and the bones which had been used for her collar helped her to collect the heat she needed. They had dried in the hot winds of a dessert for years. Nobody really know what they once had been but she did not care anyways. They were power and power was what she wanted.

The festival of sin will start at saturday. Its a event dedicated to the 7 sins. All store owners created items which fit to this theme. The Medusa Necklace from the deluxe brand of A:S:S is one of those items. Its made of many bonelike parts and pearls with some jewels in front. There is a hud included which allows to choose between four colours of the jewels. The hud also helps to resize the collar. The headdress and the pants belong both to the blacklabel part of Miamai. The pants are sculpted and look great with all the lace and the pearls. The headdress is made of a skull with some feathers and flowers. It creates a elegant but as its a skull also dark look. I haven't bought any eyes since Sterling Artistry released the dragon eyes. On the picture they are used in Indigofrost. The have very big reptilian pupils and are available in 12 colours. The claws from Amorous can be turned on and off. It is also possible just to wear the wristlet part of them. They do not only look good they are also great for roleplay. Its the same with the Pipe from Rozoregalia. It comes in a set of several versions of it. Each of them contains eight poses so its a great looking photoprop which can be also used as accessory. The hair on the picture is the first mesh hair from Magika. Its very long so its name fits very well to it - its called Length. The fire on the picture has been created by using the Fuego hud from Kat-ar. Its a hud for CCS, the comunity combat system which is being used in many roleplay sims. The hud offers several ranged weapons, a shield and for melee fight it has the option to fight with burning fists. To be able to use the effects the hud needs mana, it can be recharged with the normal mana but also has own mana which is gained while wearing the hud - until a maximum of mana is reached. Im personally not into fighting, but as being attacked now and then by new players I bought the hud as it fits to my roleplaycharacter and the effects look great.

Changeling

The light fell on her antlers and made them look like they would be glowing. In the heart of winter Eyllis always returned to the dirty old street where she grew up. Not that anybody would have been able to see her or even to touch her. She seemed to be invisible for the most humans. Some saw her and supposed that she might be a ghost which came around to haunt them.

Eyllis was of course not the first name she had gotten. When she had been born her human parents gave her the name Susanna. It always felt wrong for her but even when she was in the age that she would have been able to change her her name she did not know what different name she could choose. Normaly she felt like she would be at the completly wrong place. There was always something missing. Then one day she saw the old fae and the fae saw her and made her an offer. They would exchange their identities and the old fae would spend the rest of her years in human company while Susanna would start a life in the company of mysticial creatures. Antlers started to grow out of her head and she became able to see in the night. After a while she was not able to describe how glad she was that she never had been baptized else she would never have had the chance to be happy as changeling.

Material Squirrel is a wonderful store when it comes to fantasy accessories like wings. Now they released their first mesh items which are horns and antlers. At the antlers the benefits of mesh are well visible. There are no parts where the textures do not fit perfectly and all connections look natural. Beside this it is possible to choose between several textures and as the antlers aren't rigged they even come with a resize option. The boots are an other meshitem. They come from Miamai and are available in several colours. The shading is very beautiful and I like the asymetrical look of the boots as the lacing isn t in the middle but on their side. The biggest benefit of meshboots is of course that they bend with the movement of the leg so that the time of prims getting through the knee is over. The boots are included in a smaller and a bigger version and alphalayers for both of those. They fit also small avatars. The white outfit comes from deviousMind. Their items always have great textures. This set also contains stockings and a hat but as stockings normaly do not look good in high boots and hats and antlers are not always friends I did not show those items. The skirt comes in two versions a shorter one and a longer one and there are several options how to wear the outfit. For example the corset could also be worn with suspenders and of course its also possible to wear it without the pasties or without the collar.

Lust for Colours

The watchmen shivered when they came back. It had done it again. Now it was sitting in te middle of the room and looked up to them. They did not know what to think about the inpression it had in its eyes. Was it hunger? The watchmen shivered at the thought. The deal was to keep it for five days, the instructions had been clear it should get food and be lead in the sunshine for an hour every day. But as they allready had been paid they did not plan to follow the instructions at all. So they would have less work and not to share their food. First they thought of their prisoner as female. Her skin was different than anything they had seen before but her shape made them lick over their lips. Her mask confused them as they were not able to make her take it off. All three of them made an agreement. Their plan was to let her starve for two days and then to have their way with her. It was not the first time they would do something like this with a female prisoner. They allready had planed who would be first. Rock-paper-scissors was really a useful game. After the first night they found her outside her cell. It was not a problem to lock her up again. In the second night two of them heard loud screaming. The source was the third watchman. He had not been able to wait. Now he was laying on the floor. And not only his body had lost all colours. It was the same with his clothes. The prisoner stared to the two other guards who grabbed the corpse of their friend and hurried out of the bunker. They were surpised how light he felt now that he was colourless. When they came back they found it outside its cell again. Now all the colours which had been in the room were missing and waves of light were running over its scales. Of course it was hungry. And looking forward to the moment when they would try to get it back into the cell. Colours tasted so much better when they came from living beings.

This dragonmask is a wonderful gift which is available in several stores at the moment. To be more precise in the stores which take part in the giving circle. The mask has been created by Rosslyn Guardian, the owner of Falconrose. Those masks are the second life version of masks she creates in real life - she only uses prims instead of leather. This one is a white imperial dragon. Rosslyn has a booth at Sandrock where she sells her creations and its worth to visit that booth as well.
The skin which has been used for the picture comes from Fallen Gods Inc. It belongs to the Draco skins. This is one of the versions with the marks. The set includes not only two versions of the skin (awake and dormient) but also a tattoo layer to increase the look of the marks. The pose comes from purple poses. The room in which the picture has been taken is also a poseprop. Its the Interrogation Bunker from Devious Poses. The bunker can be bought with or without poses. In the version with poses it contains five couple poses which fit perfectly to the interrogation theme. The set also contains helpful props like a cane and several cuffs. In the store it is possible to look at a demo of the bunker and to test the poses.

Beings in the mist

The days at which the fog lifted were rare. Eideann did not care about this anyways. She knew that the beings which hid in the dust were most likely more afraid of her than she of them. As child she flipped when starting to see all the creatures but she soon figured out that they only saw her when she directly looked at them. Some of them tried to steal energy from her others just wanted to talk with her. She usually killed the ones who wanted her energy and for the others she wore a blindfold.

The henna jackets from Miamai just look great. This one is the black version of it. It looks like a normal elegant jacket with short tails on the back and the options to wear a feather collar. They consist of a jacket layer which keeps the bits covered and primparts for the jacket, sleeves and for the feathers. It can be worn with and without the feathers. All the prim parts are mod. The other items have all been blogged some time ago. But I have to admit that I really like the combination of the tattoo and the hair and so I used them again. The blindfold has been in a gatcha at the fashion fest it might be not available anymore. But illusions sells a very pretty one too. The thong belongs to a complete set thats why it is so expensive but there might be stores which sell single thongs.

Caught with cupcakes

Amelie was swearing in her mind. They had caught her again. It was always the same. She managed to sneak out of the theatre and to hurry to the next bakery but when she wanted to eat the cupcakes the managers normaly managed to get her. It was horrible. She so wanted to eat sweets. But as usuall she was pulled to the healthpolice where she had to hold the cupcakes in her hands while they took a picture of her. It was embarrassing.

She never really managed to understand why the managers pulled her to the healthpolice when she wanted to eat cupcakes. They never seemed to see a problem in the fact that she smoked. And she smoked a lot while waiting for her performance. Sometimes she even smoked during her performance. Balancing her cigarette holder in her hand while she danced or sang. But maybe it was expected that dancers smoked and not ate cupcakes. Ameli wanted both. Luckily she found a baker who was finally able to create cupcakes which really looked like apples.

Devious Mind is one of the best stores in second life when it comes to lingerie and burlesque poses (they also have the greatest lucky chairs). At the moment there is a hunt going on on their sim. Four of the stores on the sim take part in it: Chanimations, Deviousbeauty, Cupcakes & Poetry and Captain's Quarters. The huntgift you have to search for is either a bottle or an apple with a clock next to it. The gifts are stunning. The dancing outfit on the pictures is the gift fromm deviousBeauty. It could be worn in several ways. The primparts have a resizescript. The cigarette holder, the applecupcakes and the poses are the chanimationsgift. Their gift also contains the backdrop with the heights and inbuilt poses. The white hair comes from Wasabi Pills. It has a unique cut and its possible to tint one of the buns and the surrounding hair in an other colour. The makeup belongs to the new 22769 visage line. It looks like the makeup of Death. She is a character in the sandman comics and the older sister of Dream, the maincharacter in those comics.

Smoking in a jacket

Smoking a cigar while thinking about which pictures might fit best at the walls. And not being worried at all about the consequences smoking might have for the health. Being able to smoke rings is a good reason to be proud too.

As much as i dislike smoking in real life i love to smoke in second life. I love elegant cigarette holders, impressive cigars and sloppy cigarettes which hang out of the mouth. And in second life all of this is possible with having to cough, causing cancer and getting smelly hair. So my avatar smokes without feeling guilty at all (as dragon its also natural to smoke). This cigar comes from the gentleman store. It has several kinds of smokes which could be activated, rings, smoke which gets blown out of the mouth or nose or for the intensive smoker it is even possible to smoke out of the ears.
The jacket is the hunt gift from schoen in the fashion for life hunt. I had to look around a bit till i found it. The huntitems in this hunt cost between 10-100Linden. It comes with several versions of the prim parts so it was not needed to adjust it. The texture is quite unique and it goes very well with black.
I think i blog the rest of the outfit quite often, i really like it. Its from devious mind and normaly for dancing on a stage or to lay around on a pretty red couch.

The queen of hearts

I love the stuff from devious mind, chanimations and all the other stores on the deviousMind sim. And they got a great Valentines groupgift. Its a prop for poses so that it is possible to make a picture and look like being on the Queen of Hearts card. The set comes with two of those props. The one is for the upper body and the other for the whole body. The poses are sexy and cute. The poses themself are also in the set so if you prefer to be the King of hearts and manage to build yourself such a card you could do so and use the poses. The rose on the upper picture was also in the gift. The outfit on the pictures comes from devious mind.

Waiting for Christmas

Its allready february. So why not starting to wait for next xmas again. A good place for waiting for X-mas is DeviousMind. I have not recognized that they got xmas stuff there in their lucky chairs (there is one lucky chair the other lucky objects are tables and even an elephant). So i won this outfit and also the candycane prop there. First i was insecure if i should blog the items as xmas is over for some time now but on the other hand they are really great so i decided not to care about the current season.
An other price was this outfit with featherboa and fitting poses to make pictures with the boa and the mirror.
The pose looks also pretty good when looking at the backside. It could bei either used with the poseball which is also a part of the set or simply with the poses.
And for those who still think that santa claus does not exist. There are those x-mas tentacles which are more than willing in helping to make you belive.

Posing on a chair

I really liked this pose chair from ~*~ DeminAtions ~*~. Well compared to some stuff from glitterati for example its a bit expensive because it costs 700 Lindens. But its well made and fun.
The chair comes with 10 poses.
And they are all rather hot.
For the pictures i used some lovely outfits from devious mind, the MmeChatouille lingerie.
I think outfit and chair fit quite well together.

Visiting Mcskin again

I haven`t been a while at McSkin so i went there today and found a groupgift. Which is allready old i suppose but well i like it.

On the lucky board there is at the moment a blue skin. Its named drow skin but im not sure if i know any drow with a blue skin. But i think its a good skin for roleplay. For example becoming blue after having eaten some strange berrys.
